About Us

We are a Church of England school located in the town of Broseley, Shropshire. Our vision is that we are all able to Let Our Light Shine. This is a key message from Matthew 5:14-16. It combines the message of, ‘You are the light of the world’ and ‘let your light shine’. We are clear about our mission: lighting up lives so that we may each shine brightly.

As a Church school family, we seek to follow the example of Jesus in all that we do. Our actions allow us to let our light shine. Our actions allow us to share the light of Jesus with those around us. We believe that ‘Love always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.’ (1 Corinthians 13)

Our recent SIAMS inspection (February 2026) report shares that, 'Broseley Church of England VC Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.'

Our school has approximately 200 pupils and our children are proud to attend our school. We work tirelessly to create and maintain a warm and caring ethos where everyone is made to feel welcome. 'Pupils are happy and look forward to their school day. Leaders have high expectations for all pupils, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Pupils work hard in lessons and achieve these expectations.' (OfSTED, 2023)
